Über Tulle

Tulle station serves the prefecture of the Corrèze department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of central Frankreich. It lies on the Ussel–Brive-la-Gaillarde line and provides regional TER Verbindungen to Brive and Clermont-Ferrand. The station is the Ankunft point for visitors to Tulle's historisches Zentrum, known for its accordion-making tradition and Gothic cathedral.

TER Nouvelle-Aquitaine regional trains connect Tulle to Brive-la-Gaillarde in about 30 minutes and to Ussel. Connections to Paris are made via Brive, where Intercites services run to Paris Austerlitz.

Tulle is the prefecture of the Correze department and has been an important arms manufacturing centre since the 18th century. The town suffered a tragic massacre by the SS Das Reich division in June 1944, commemorated by a memorial. It is also notable as the political base of former President Francois Hollande.
