Bad Ragaz is a estación in the spa resort town of Bad Ragaz in the canton of St. Gallen, positioned a la entrada de the dramatic Tamina Gorge in oriental Switzerland. It sits on the main SBB línea between Zürich and Chur, receiving regular interurbano and servicios regionales that make the town readily accesoible from both cities in under an hour. The thermal springs in the Tamina Gorge were discovered by monks from the Pfafers Abbey in 1242. Initially, patients were lowered into the gorge on ropes to bathe. The water was later channelled down to Bad Ragaz, which developed into one of Switzerland's most distinguished spa towns.
