Flawil is a estación in the canton of St. Gallen in norte-oriental Switzerland, located in the industrialised Glatt valle between Gossau and Uzwil. SBB trenes regionales on the St. Gallen–Winterthur main línea stop here, offering frequent conexiones to St. Gallen in around 15 minutes and to Winterthur in around 20 minutes, making it a viajero habitual halt within the S-Bahn St. Gallen red. The town is home to several precision engineering and textile firms that have long characterised the economy of the St. Gallen foothills.
