Sachseln is a estación in the canton of Obwalden in central Switzerland, located on the occidental shore of Lake Sarnen in the Sarner Aa valle. It is served by Zentralbahn trenes on the Luzern–Interlaken Express ruta and servicios regionales between Luzern and Meiringen or Interlaken Ost, offering scenic mountain views. The village of Sachseln is a Catholic pilgrimage site, home to the shrine of Saint Nicholas of Flüe, patron saint of Switzerland.
