Stein am Rhein is a estación in the canton of Schaffhausen in septentrional Switzerland, serving one of the most beauticompletamente preserved medieval small towns in the country, renowned for its painted half-timbered façades a lo largo del Rin. It is served by SBB trenes on the Schaffhausen–Kreuzlingen Seelinie, with conexiones to Schaffhausen and onward to Zürich and Konstanz. The estación is the principal llegada point for the large number of day-viajepers and cultural turistas who visit the town's historic Rathausplatz and Hohenklingen castillo.

Boat services operate on the Rhine between Stein am Rhein, Schaffhausen, and the Rhine Falls during the summer season. The downstream journey to the Rhine Falls takes about 3 hours and passes through scenic countryside. Combining the boat and train creates an excellent circular excursion.
