Uznach is a estación in the St Gallen canton of oriental Switzerland, situated at the meridional end of the Upper Lake Zurich on the SBB línea between Rapperswil and Ziegelbrücke. The estación is a nudo ferroviario where the Ricken tunnel línea to Wattwil and the Toggenburg valle branches off, making Uznach a small but functional intercambiador for pasajeros heading into the alpine St Gallen hinterland. S-Bahn Zürich servicios reach Uznach with good frequency, placing it within a comfortable commuting distance of Zurich and providing local residentees with reliable conexiones to the wider Swiss red.
