Acerca de Zermatt

Zermatt estación is the coche-free Alpine resort's sole conexión with the outside world by rail, sitting at 1,604 metres altitude at the end of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGB) línea from Visp and Brig, with the famous Matterhorn visible from the andén on clear days. Zermatt is car-free and reachable only by the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn from Visp or Brig, where you connect from mainline SBB trains. The scenic journey from Visp takes about 65 minutes, climbing through the Matter Valley. The Glacier Express from St. Moritz also terminates here.
