Giswil is a station in the canton of Obwalden in central Switzerland, lying in the Sarner Aa valley on the Brünig Line conectaming Lucerne with Interlaken. The narrow-gauge metre-gauge Zentralbahn opera the line, which climbs over the Brünig Pass através de some of the finest Alpine scenery in central Switzerland. Giswil village and its surrounding área oferecem acesso to walking routes and the Giswil Lakes nature reatendem, attracting visitors year-round.
