Aachen Hbf is the principal станция of Germany's westernmost city, located at the intersection of Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands in a region historically associated with Charlemagne and the Carolingian empire. Aachen Cathedral, Charlemagne's burial church and the oldest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe, is the unmissable attraction and a five-minute walk from the станция. The historic thermal baths, the Carolus Thermen spa, and the city's legendary Printen gingerbread are other highlights not to be missed.
