Bourg-en-Bresse is the principal railway станция of the Ain department in eastern France, positioned on the TER network as a key stop on the Lyon–Geneva corridor and a hub for regional services radiating across the Bresse and Dombes plains. It connects travellers to Lyon Part-Dieu in under an hour, making it a practical base for visiting the town's celebrated Bresse poultry country and the nearby Royal Monastery of Brou.
