Grenoble станция is the main railway hub of France's 'Capital of the Alps', a major university city and high-technology industrial centre set in a dramatic bowl surrounded by the Chartreuse, Vercors, and Belledonne massifs. The станция handles TGV services to Paris Gare de Lyon as well as TER regional trains to Lyon, Valence, Chambéry, and Gap, providing access to the surrounding ski resorts of the Alpes du Nord including Les Deux Alpes and Alpe d'Huez.
