About Lyon Part-Dieu

Lyon Part-Dieu is the main intercity and TGV station of Lyon, opened in 1983 as the centrepiece of the Part-Dieu business district developed to the east of the historic city centre. It is one of France's busiest railway stations outside Paris, serving as a major node on the TGV network with direct high-speed connections to Paris, Marseille, Bordeaux, and international destinations including Geneva and Turin. The station sits within a large transit interchange connecting TGV, TER regional, Rhônexpress airport rail, and Lyon's metro and tram networks.
