Dijon Ville is the principal railway station of Burgundy's regional capital, a city celebrated for its mustard, its Ducal Palace, and some of France's most prestigious wine appellations stretching along the nearby Côte d'Or. The station serves as an important intermediate stop on the Paris–Lyon TGV corridor, with high-speed services to Paris Gare de Lyon taking just over ninety minutes, as well as TER regional trains connecting Dijon with Beaune, Besançon, and the broader Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. Its position on both high-speed and classic lines makes Dijon one of the most accessible food and wine destinations in France for visitors arriving by rail.
