Nantes station is the principal railway hub for the Loire-Atlantique department and the largest city in western France, connecting the region to Paris and the national TGV network. Regular high-speed TGV services reach Paris Montparnasse in just over two hours, while TER trains radiate across the Pays de la Loire region to Rennes, Le Mans, and the Atlantic coast.
