Calais Ville is the principal станция of Calais, a major port city on the Strait of Dover in northern France. It connects to Lille, Boulogne-sur-Mer, and Dunkerque via TER Hauts-de-France services. Rodin's famous sculpture 'The Burghers of Calais' stands outside the town hall near the station. The Cite de la Dentelle et de la Mode celebrates Calais's lace-making heritage. The beach and seafront promenade are a short walk north, with views across the Channel to the English coast.

Calais Ville is the town-centre station for regional trains and local access. Calais-Frethun is the high-speed station near the Channel Tunnel entrance, serving Eurostar trains to London and TGV services to Paris and Lille. A regional train connects the two stations in about 10 minutes.
