Colmar is the main станция of the capital of Haut-Rhin in the Grand Est region, a town celebrated for its remarkably preserved medieval and Renaissance architecture and its position at the heart of the Alsatian wine route. It is served by TGV and TER services connecting it to Strasbourg in around 30 minutes and to Mulhouse to the south, while a branch линия runs westward into the Vosges mountains towards Saint-Dié-des-Vosges. Colmar station is about a 10-minute walk from the enchanting old town and Little Venice quarter. Walk east along Avenue de la Republique to reach the pedestrianised centre. The compact size of the city makes most attractions accessible on foot from the station.

TER Alsace regional trains connect Colmar to Strasbourg in about 30 minutes and to Mulhouse in 20 minutes. TGV services run to Paris Est in about 2 hours 40 minutes. Cross-border trains to Freiburg in Germany are also available via Mulhouse.
