Saint-Georges-d'Aurac is a small станция in the Haute-Loire department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in the heart of the French Massif Central, situated at a high-altitude junction in the volcanic Velay plateau. It is a junction point on the TER network where the линия from Brioude and Clermont-Ferrand meets the scenic Cévenol route heading southward via La Bastide-Puylaurent towards Nîmes. The станция, standing at over 900 metres, serves a very sparse local population and functions primarily as an operational halt on one of France's most scenic and remote railway lines.
