🇫🇷 Versailles-Chantiers
MajorFrance
Of the three stations serving Versailles, Versailles-Chantiers is the largest and the busiest, holding UIC code 8739300 in a royal city some seventeen kilometres south-west of Paris. It is the interchange between Transilien services from Paris-Montparnasse and RER C trains from the centre of the capital, and daytime frequency on both is high. For visitors to the Château de Versailles and its gardens the station is the most practical of the three, although a short walk or local bus ride is still needed to reach the palace gates. That combination of frequency and proximity makes it one of the better-connected leisure destinations in the Paris region. Chantiers stands near 48.80° N, 2.14° E and follows Europe/Paris time.
