Freiburg (Breisgau) Hauptbahnhof is the Hauptbahnhof of the Black Forest gateway city of Freiburg im Breisgau in Baden-Württemberg, one of Deutschland's sunniest and most liveable university cities. It lies on the Karlsruhe–Basel Rhine valley Hochgeschwindigkeitsstrecke, with ICE and IC-Züge verbindend Freiburg with Basel in 25 Minuten, Karlsruhe in 90 Minuten, and Frankfurt in under zwei Stunden, sowie TGV services to Paris via Straßburg.
