Verona Porta Nuova is the main estación de ferrococheril of Verona in the Veneto region of septentrional Italy, serving high-speed Frecciarossa and Frecciargento trenes on the Milan–Venice and Milan–Bologna corredores. Its central location provides easy acceso to the Roman Arena, the centro histórico, and Lake Garda.

Verona Porta Nuova is about a 15-minute walk south of Piazza Bra and the Arena di Verona. Local buses run frequently from the station forecourt to the historic centre. The walk along Corso Porta Nuova is straightforward and pleasant, passing through the old city gates.
Trenitalia Frecciarossa and Frecciargento high-speed trains connect Verona to Milan, Venice, Bologna, and Rome. Italo NTV also serves the station with high-speed services. Regional trains run to Lake Garda towns, Bolzano in the Dolomites, and Brenner Pass services to Austria.

The Roman Arena di Verona, one of the best-preserved ancient amphitheatres, is a short walk from the station. Juliet's House, Castelvecchio, and the Piazza delle Erbe are all within the compact historic centre. Verona is also a gateway to Lake Garda, reachable by regional train in about 20 minutes.
Verona is an excellent rail hub for northern Italy. Direct trains reach Venice in just over an hour, Milan in about 90 minutes, and Bologna in under an hour. The Brenner line provides connections to Innsbruck and Munich, making it a natural crossroads between Italy and Austria.
