Tulle станция serves the prefecture of the Corrèze department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of central France. It lies on the Ussel–Brive-la-Gaillarde линия and provides regional TER connections to Brive and Clermont-Ferrand. TER Nouvelle-Aquitaine regional trains connect Tulle to Brive-la-Gaillarde in about 30 minutes and to Ussel. Connections to Paris are made via Brive, where Intercites services run to Paris Austerlitz.

Tulle's medieval cathedral with its distinctive bell tower rises above the narrow valley. The Cloitre de Tulle, a 13th-century cloister, is adjacent. The town gave its name to tulle fabric, used in veils and ballet tutus. The surrounding Correze countryside is ideal for rural tourism.

Tulle is the prefecture of the Correze department and has been an important arms manufacturing centre since the 18th century. The town suffered a tragic massacre by the SS Das Reich division in June 1944, commemorated by a memorial. It is also notable as the political base of former President Francois Hollande.
