🇨🇭 Laufen

Laufen station is about a 5-minute walk from the old town along the Birs river. Walk towards the river to reach the medieval centre with its half-timbered houses and the Laufenburg gate tower.

SBB trains connect Laufen to Basel in about 20 minutes and to Delemont in about 15 minutes. The station is on the Basel-Delemont-Biel line, making it part of a major trans-Jura route.

Laufen station has luggage lockers and basic facilities. The station serves the town and the surrounding Laufental valley. Basel is easily accessible for day trips.
