关于 佛罗伦萨

Firenze Santa Maria Novella is Florence's main railway station and one of Italy's finest examples of rationalist architecture, completed in 1935 after a national competition that selected a bold modernist design at odds with the historic city around it. It anchors all high-speed services on the Milan–Rome corridor as well as regional trains to Pisa, Siena, and the Tuscan coast, making it the primary arrival point for the millions of tourists who visit the city each year. The station's position adjacent to the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella places it directly at the edge of the historic centre.

常见问题

The main station exits directly onto Piazza della Stazione, steps from the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella and a five-minute walk from the Duomo. Taxis queue outside, and tram lines run from the adjacent square.
Trenitalia's Frecciarossa and Frecciargento services call at Santa Maria Novella on the Milan-Rome corridor, with journey times of about 1 hour 40 minutes to Milan and 1 hour 30 minutes to Rome. Italo also serves Florence with comparable journey times.
A staffed left-luggage facility is located inside the station and is open daily from early morning until late evening, charging per item by the hour. Coin-operated lockers are also available for shorter-term storage.
The Uffizi Gallery is approximately a 20-minute walk from the station along the pedestrian streets through the historic centre, passing the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. Taxis are also available for a quicker journey if carrying luggage.
The station is extremely busy in summer, so book high-speed rail tickets well in advance as seats can sell out. Validate any regional train ticket in the yellow machines before boarding, as high-speed tickets bought online do not require separate validation.
