Disentis/Mustér station is the junction point between the Rhaetian Railway's Oberalp line coming from Chur and Andermatt, and the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGB) line that continues west towards Brig via the Furka base tunnel, forming part of the famous Glacier Express route. The station sits at around 1,130 metres altitude in the Surselva region of Graubünden, a Romansh-speaking valley known for its traditions, frescoed churches, and the great Benedictine abbey of Disentis that has stood since the 8th century. Passengers travelling on the Glacier Express between St. Moritz and Zermatt pass through here, making it a key waypoint on one of Switzerland's most celebrated scenic journeys.

Yes — the Glacier Express between St Moritz/Davos and Zermatt passes through Disentis/Muster, making a stop to allow passengers to board or alight. Reservations are compulsory on this service and should be made well in advance during the peak summer season.
The station has a ticket counter, automated machines, and a small café. Bicycle and ski equipment hire is available in the village, just a short walk from the station entrance.
Disentis/Muster has self-service luggage lockers at the station, suitable for day-use storage. The RhB baggage forwarding service can also send luggage ahead to destinations elsewhere on the network.
Disentis is home to a Benedictine abbey founded in the 8th century, one of Switzerland's oldest monasteries, which dominates the skyline above the station. The surrounding Surselva (Rhine valley) offers excellent skiing in winter and hiking to mountain passes in summer.
