Über Lissabon

Lisboa Santa Apolónia is Lissabon's oldest mainline terminus, a handsome 19th-century building on the banks of the Tagus that served as the city's principal station from 1865 until the opening of Oriente in 1998. It remains ein wichtiger terminus for Alfa Pendular and international Sud Expresso services to der Algarve and to Madrid and Paris, and wird bedient von Metro's Blue Line. Its riverside location, adjacent to the Alfama district and close to the Lissabon Cruise Terminal, makes it a significant gateway for visitors arriving by train or ship.
