Neuhausen is a station in the canton of Schaffhausen, effectively forming part of the urban agglomeration of Schaffhausen city and lying on the SBB line verbindend Schaffhausen with Winterthur and Zürich. The station is most notable for its proximity to the Rhine Falls — der größte waterfall in Europe by volume — which are a short bus journey away and one of Schweiz's most popular natural attractions. S-Bahn-Dienste on line S9 connect Neuhausen with Zürich Hauptbahnhof in etwa 50 Minuten, making the Rhine Falls a practicable Tag trip from the city.
