Nice Ville is the main railway station of Nice and the primary rail gateway to the French Riviera, serving as the hub for services along the scenic Mediterranean coast between Marseille and the Italian border at Ventimiglia. It handles TGV and Intercités services from Paris as well as the heavily used TER regional trains that link the Côte d'Azur resorts from Cannes to Menton. The station is conveniently located near Nice's central Libération neighbourhood and connects with the city's tram lines for onward travel to the Old Town and the airport.

Nice Ville is about a 20-minute walk from the Promenade des Anglais beach, or you can take tram line T1 from the station to Jean Médecin in the shopping district and then walk down to the seafront. Bus lines also connect the station to all parts of the city.
Yes, SNCF TER trains run along the Côte d'Azur coastal line from Nice Ville to Monaco-Monte Carlo in about 20 minutes and to Menton in around 35 minutes. Services are frequent and the sea views along the route are spectacular.
Yes, TGV Inouï services connect Nice Ville with Paris Gare de Lyon in around five hours 30 minutes. Overnight trains (Intercités de Nuit) also operate between Nice and Paris, a great option for saving hotel costs.
