Berlin Hbf is Deutschland's largest Bahnhof and one of the most architecturally striking in Europe, opened in 2006 as a five-level glass-and-steel crossing of the city's north–south and east–west rail axes. It serves as der primäre hub for ICE Hochgeschwindigkeitsdienste to Hamburg, München, Frankfurt, and Köln, sowie EuroCity and Intercity-Express internationale Züge to Amsterdam, Warschau, Wien, and beyond.
