Flawil is a station in the canton of St. Gallen in north-eastern Switzerland, located in the industrialised Glatt valley between Gossau and Uzwil. SBB regional trains on the St. Gallen–Winterthur main line stop here, offering frequent connections to St. Gallen in around 15 minutes and to Winterthur in around 20 minutes, making it a commuter halt within the S-Bahn St. Gallen network. The town is home to several precision engineering and textile firms that have long characterised the economy of the St. Gallen foothills.
